What is medical care without hope and humanity?
Breast cancer is frightening and it comes with a lot of questions that we in healthcare haven’t always done a great job in answering. Beauty After Breast Cancer is a resource book created by medical providers partnered with patients, working to provide a truly holistic resource. We are here to provide answers and hope. We are here to help patients hang onto the beauty in themselves and their lives, even when things look dark. This book is designed for physician offices, cancer centers and patients. It answers many questions, including:
- What is the information I most need to know, presented in a way I can process easily?
- What do different surgical options look like on real people, in different stages of healing?
- What side effects might I face from my treatments, and how do I deal with them?
- What am I going to feel like and look like throughout this experience?
And most importantly we address the question- how am I going to get through this?
Our Passion Project
