It all started when…

This project was lucky enough to get an extraordinary photographer, Joseph Linaschke, taking the portraits that accompanied each breast cancer patient’s story. Every photo was matched to the unique aspects of that person’s story- the things that bought them strength and hope. From the banner photo above- a pregnancy photo shoot (in the cold!) for a young mother who had initially been trying to get pregnant when she got her cancer diagnosis, to the art therapy photo of another woman painting a reproduction of the picture that helped her healing journey the most, every portrait session speaks from the heart. Every photo is message of hope for the better futures that we found, and wish to help others find as well.
